Celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday with Chef Philip Tessier at "The MAC", featuring Champagne with canapés, a Julia Child exhibit, an exclusive selection of Penfolds wines paired with a multi-course dinner by Chef Tessier.
In this special hands-on class, three Civic Kitchen teachers explore Jacques Pépin’s influence on their cooking. Guests join small groups to prepare Pépin favorites—from Oeufs Jeanette to Chocolate Almond Cake—then share a joyous meal and depart knowing the key points of each recipe.

Inspired by the extraordinary life of Alice B. Toklas and her travels through Europe, Alice B. Palm Springs is a celebration of style, creativity, and connection. This 90/90 dinner hosted by James Beard and Julia Child award-winning chefs Susan Feniger and Mary Sue Milliken will offer a multi-course format with optional wine pairings in honor of Jacques' 90th Birthday. For one night only, the chefs will prepare special Jacques-inspired dishes with a West Coast twist, highlighting bold yet balanced flavors, and locally sourced ingredients.
The Artisan’s Palate is a restaurant, craft cocktail/wine bar and art gallery in the NoDa neighborhood of Charlotte offering a globally-inspired/locally-sourced menu in a relaxed atmosphere with a focus on art and those who create it. For this special 90/90 event, Chef Christa Csoka and the husband-and-wife team Rachel Klebaur and Jose Espinosa from Orrman's Cheese Shop — all alumni and classmates from the French Culinary Institute during Jacques Pépin’s tenure as Dean — will offer a sumptuous five-course food and wine pairing. Each course will highlight the exquisite cheeses from Orrman's Cheese Shop, seamlessly blended with our French culinary heritage to showcase the profound influence of Jacques Pépin on their culinary journeys.

The Josephine is a newly-renovated iconic 90-year-old church–all in the former Our Lady of Lourdes church which had been shuttered since Hurricane Katrina. The evening starts with cocktails crafted by CURE. Chefs Dickie Brennan and Susan Spicer will serve a four-course seated meal inspired by a dinner they co-hosted in 1993 in Napa with fellow NOLA Chef Frank Brigsten. Chef Michel Nischan will join the festivities as a guest chef for this very special NOLA celebration.
