For this 90/90 event, Chefs Jeremy Sewall, Michael Schlow, Ken Oringer, David Punch and Ming Tsai are coming together to host a once in a lifetime dinner to celebrate Jacques Pépin’s 90th birthday and help raise money for the Jacques Pépin Foundation. Menu highlights include Steamed Lobster Shumai in Thai coconut broth and Seared Scallops with wild mushrooms and black truffle.  Jacques Pépin and Rollie Wesen, Executive Director of the JPF, will be in attendance!

Jeremy Sewall is the Chef and Partner of Row 34 in Boston’s Seaport, Cambridge’s Kendall Square, Burlington, MA and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Row 34 is a progressive, neighborhood-focused oyster bar that continues the team’s mission of celebrating New England’s rich seafood traditions. As the flavor of an oyster is dictated by its environment, the character of Row 34 is led by Chef Jeremy Sewall and guided by his family’s deep New England lineage. He and the entire team are dedicated to celebrating the diversity of New England seafood and the passion of the people who bring it to the restaurant every day. He is the author of James Beard Award nominated The New England Kitchen: Fresh Takes on Seasonal Recipes, with co-author Erin Byers Murray; Oysters: A Celebration in the Raw, with Marion Swaybill; and The Row 34 Cookbook: Stories and Recipes from a Neighborhood Oyster Bar.

Ken Oringer is a James Beard Award winning chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. He owns and operates highly acclaimed restaurants around Boston including Coppa, Toro, Uni (formerly Clio), Little Donkey, Faccia a Faccia, and his newest project, Verveine Cafe + Bakery. Oringer has received numerous awards and recognition for his work, including garnering the StarChefs Rising Stars Mentor Award in 2010 for his dedication to teaching and inspiring the next generation of chefs.

Chef and restaurateur, Sycamore, Little Big Diner and Jinny’s Pizzeria

For the past 20 years, Dave Punch has been cooking up a storm in Boston and beyond. He got his start learning the classics at the Nightingale Restaurant in the South End, then sharpened his skills as sous chef with some of Boston’s best — Susan Regis, Amanda Lydon, and Steve Johnson — at Upstairs on the Square and Rendezvous. After many years as Executive Chef at Ten Tables, he decided to strike out on his own, opening Sycamore 12 years ago, followed by Little Big Diner and Jinny’s Pizzeria.

Ming Tsai

Ming Tsai

Chef, restaurateur, author and television personality

Chef Ming Tsai is an Iron Chef, James Beard and Emmy Award-Winner, Chef/Partner at BaBa at Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, President of the National Advisory Board for Family Reach, and author of five cookbooks. He was host and executive producer of the longest-running cooking series on PBS, Simply Ming and just received acclaim for his new mini-series titled, Simply Ming: Better For You. Chef Tsai supports the mission of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Family Reach. To date, he has raised $12 million for Family Reach. In 2022, Chef became Iron Chef Ming Tsai as he joined the cast of 5 world-class chefs in the Netflix series Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend.
