Honoring the 90th Birthday ofJacques Pépin

Considered the greatest culinary educator of our time, Jacques Pépin has dedicated the majority of his career to teaching technique by authoring over 30 cookbooks and hosting 13 public television series.

An iconic chef, author, teacher, television personality, and artist, his legendary impact has touched lives and kitchens across decades and generations.

In collaboration with chefs and restaurants spanning the nation, we will celebrate Jacques through December 2025.

We are excited to launch our biggest initiative ever: the 90/90 Dinner Series. These ticketed dinners, celebrating Jacques’ 90th birthday in 2025, are designed to generate significant support to advance our mission of improving lives through culinary education.

Most importantly, each chef and restaurant has pledged that proceeds from these exclusive events will directly benefit the Jacques Pépin Foundation, and directly support our community kitchen programs and educational videos, creating a cycle of support that empowers individuals and communities.

Napa Valley Celebrates Jacques Pépin’s 90th Birthday

October 23-November 2

Chefs, vintners and friends from the Bay Area are thrilled to welcome Jacques Pépin to the Napa and Sonoma Valleys as we join him in commemorating his 90th birthday with an 11-day series of special celebrations. We hope that you will look over the exciting events we have planned and spend some time with us in honoring this extraordinary chef, artist, teacher and friend.

Dinner in the Garden with Rick Bayless

June 12

Chef Rick Bayless—visionary chef, teacher, James Beard Award winner, and champion of regional Mexican cuisine—will host an intimate 90/90 Celebration dinner in the garden at his home in Chicago, bringing his warmth and flavor to this very special JPF gathering.  Join us for a night that celebrates connection, community, and the joy of sharing a meal together.

Koko Head Cafe

June 21 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm

In late 2013, Chef Lee Anne Wong uprooted from her hometown of NYC to move to sunny Oahu, Hawaii. There she partnered with Chef Kevin Hanney and opened up Koko Head Cafe in March of 2014. Specializing in locally sourced, creative brunch fare, Koko Head Cafe quickly became a community favorite and has received both local and national acclaim in print, online and on television. This special 90/90 event features a collaboration with Roy Yamaguchi of Roy’s Hawaii, Robynne Maii of Fete Restaurant and Michelle Karr Ueoka of MW Restaurant.

Plate of food at Sereia 90/90 dinner

Feeling the Love at February Events

Gatherings in Florida and Tennessee spread the 90/90 celebration through the south. Chef Maneet Chauhan and Chef Brian Riggenbach hosted a four-course brunch in Nashville. Miami’s Sereia featured a six-course meal from top chefs. Chef Norman Van Aken’s gala at Norman’s in Orlando closed the month with elegant, heartfelt celebrations.
